Cleaning Services

We offer cleaning services for items that have been well-used and loved, traveled around the world, or even have spent time sitting on a shelf. It’s always the right time to give your luxury items a fresh look.

Basic Clean Outer Bag

We offer a basic cleaning for the outer bag made of Soft Leather or Canvas material to restore the original beauty and charm.

Inner Lining Clean

We offer an inner lining dry cleaning for most common materials, giving a fresh look and feel to even the innermost corners of your bag.

Stain Removal (Single stain)

During the stain removal process a basic clean (outer and/or inner lining) must be completed in order to effectively remove the stain. Special products used for ink, color transfer, liquid stains, grease/body oils and mold.

Metal Clean and Polish

We offer a detailed cleaning of metal embellishments to restore the shine of zippers and hardware.

Average Price: $20-$50 USD

Dermo-Guard Application

Refeci is a pioneer in the U.S. with the use of Dermo-Guard. This process uses a special membrane to protect leather products and pale colors from stains, oil and water spots, moisture absorption and daily wear and tear without damage to the leather. Dermo-guard is highly recommended to be applied to new handbags before use to prevent as much damage as possible.

Mold Remediation

Refeci offers a specialist cleaner for killing mold on leather/fabrics and preventing its return. It is safe to use in suede and nubuck. It can also be used on clothing, shoes, purses, and other accessories.

*If the mold attack has been severe, it may leave pitting on the leather surface, this is a separate problem that requires color treatment.

Color Treatments

Even the highest quality material can fall victim to the test of time. Revamp the color and luster of your items.

Gold Tone Hardware Replating

Gold plating of zippers, hardware, and accessories to repair the gold finish of the metal on your item.

Faded Areas and Color Touch ups

Material can be dyed to cover and restore faded areas of material. Color used in restorations will be matched as close to original color as possible.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Refeci agrees to provide the utmost care in the services we provide and to treat every item we receive as if it was our own. Refeci holds Tradesmen Liability Insurance, copies of which can be provided upon request.

Access to and use of the Refeci website, www.refecicare.com, is governed by the terms of use (terms of use) set forth below, as well as any applicable laws, statutes, ordinances and regulations. By accessing this site, you agree to be bound by the terms of use. If you do not agree to the terms of use, please do not use this site. Each time you visit the site, the current version of the terms of use will apply. Accordingly, when you use the site, you should check the date of the terms of use (which appears at the top) and review any changes since the last version

Refeci cannot assume responsibility for underlying defects in materials that are not obvious or visible prior to servicing.

1. Deep Stain removal requested by customers will be carried out at the customers’ own risk.

2. Identical Color Matches are not always guaranteed.

3. Refeci cannot be held responsible for loss or damage of personal belongings left in the owner’s item – please check your belongings carefully prior to servicing.

4. Customers must thoroughly inspect their serviced item upon receiving and notify Refeci within 48 hours of any complaints, we cannot be held responsible for any later complaints.

5. Refeci liability for any loss or damage to customer’s item(s) shall not exceed Four (4) times our charge for servicing it.

6. Refeci holds the right to decline any customer or service.

7. Photographs are used on all items for before and after service comparisons and are mandatory to protect both parties.

8. Refeci holds the right to amend the Terms and Conditions occasionally without prior notice.

9. Some leather can vary in color following re-coloring , this is due to the inherent nature of the skin and not the method of treatment, in this case Refeci cannot be held responsible.

10. Successful treatment cannot always be guaranteed for deeply stained or heavily soiled items.

11. Damage to material that was covered or concealed during the original manufacturing process may become revealed during treatment, in this case Refeci cannot be held responsible.

12. Cowhide material that has severe degradation may become damaged during some treatments, requesting treatment to Cowhide in such conditions is at the customer's own risk.

These terms of use constitute the entire agreement between you and Refeci regarding the use of this site, superseding any prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals between you and Refeci. Refeci will provide approximate dates/times of delivery, not a guarantee of a particular day of delivery or pick up. Delivery method for all orders will be conformed with you, if confirmation is not provided the delivery of the item will be delayed.
